    Drain valve has taken the Fumoto style ball valve to a new level and improved it with the addition of the nickel plating increasing corrosion resistance. The machine work on the valve and the optional hose ends available is second to none. I incorporated one recently on a GM 400 Turbo deep factory steel transmission pan.
    May I offer some advice that has worked for me in many applications. When sealing the valve to any metal structure I apply a light coat of ARP thread sealant to the gasket surfaces, whether they're the fiber type or copper washer type, as well as to the threaded nipple ends. It not only helps seal the joints, but can take the higher heat levels, never hardens, and prevents galling of the metal facilitating easy removal in the future if need be. It also aids in achieving more accurate torque specs. Lastly, always install the dust caps on the nipple end!

    Keeping the hose end clean is helpful because I may reuse the 5W30 winter oil the next winter if I drove low kilometres. If using 10W30 and forgetting to plug in the block heater at -20 degrees C or colder may be a vehicle not starting.

    Installed item and I love it. This will make changing oil a breeze. I am 60 and not able to get under the vehicle easily. This will help in that situation. Thanks.

    I purchased the caps for the drain valve. So far I have no problems wtih the drain valve. It's a great idea. Really like the caps. Helps keep the dirt out
